OUR PROGRAMS

At B-Yourself Foundation, we create spaces where young people can discover new interests, develop practical skills, try new things, and see possibilities for their futures.

Everything we do is rooted in a simple message: Be Bold. Be Empowered. Know that you are Enough.

Our work is organized around five pillars and two age-based program models: B.E.E. Academy for ages 6–11 and Future Bees of Tomorrow for ages 12–19. Together, they create a pathway that grows with young people—from early exploration and skill-building to deeper application, independence, and real-world projects.

Our Five Pillars

Our five pillars guide the experiences, lessons, activities, and opportunities we create for young people at every stage.

B.Healthy

B.Healthy helps young people understand that caring for themselves is part of preparing for their future. Activities may explore physical wellness, nutrition, movement, hygiene, self-care, healthy choices, and habits that support overall well-being.

B.Educated

B.Educated encourages curiosity and makes learning something youth can experience, not just read about. From literacy and science to technology, history, and creative exploration, young people are given opportunities to ask questions, investigate ideas, and strengthen what they know.

B.Successful

There is no single definition of success. B.Successful helps youth discover their strengths while developing leadership, communication, teamwork, goal setting, creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship skills that can help them pursue their own version of success.

B.Ready

B.Ready focuses on preparing young people for greater independence. Experiences may introduce career exploration, civic participation, professionalism, etiquette, decision-making, digital skills, personal responsibility, and other tools for navigating the world around them.

B.Wealthy

B.Wealthy helps make money conversations understandable and relevant at an early age. Youth explore concepts such as earning, saving, spending, budgeting, banking, credit, ownership, entrepreneurship, and making thoughtful financial decisions.

B.E.E. Academy

Ages 4–11 | Explore. Discover. Grow.

B.E.E. Academy is our foundational enrichment program for children ages 4–11. At this stage, we want children to be curious—to ask questions, try unfamiliar things, discover interests, practice new skills, and learn by doing.

Academy experiences draw from our five pillars and turn learning into something children can touch, build, discuss, investigate, practice, and create. Programming may take place after school, through educational and community partners, at community events, or anywhere children can benefit from an engaging learning experience.

Learning Lab

Learning Lab brings subjects off the page and into students' hands. We work with educational partners to complement what children are already studying by creating activities that allow them to build, investigate, experiment, read, design, and solve problems connected to a learning theme.

A history lesson might become an engineering challenge. A science topic might become an experiment. A reading topic might inspire a creative project. The goal is to help children make connections between what they are learning and what they can do with that knowledge.

After-School Enrichment

After-School Enrichment gives children more opportunities to discover interests and develop practical skills after the traditional school day.

Programming can draw from any of our five pillars, introducing children to STEM, financial literacy, wellness, communication, creativity, entrepreneurship, and everyday life skills through activities designed for their developmental stage.

Community Connections

Learning does not have to happen inside a classroom.

Community Connections brings B.E.E. Academy experiences to parks, residential communities, family events, and other shared spaces. Educational activities are blended with experiences families want to attend, creating opportunities for children to learn, create, explore, and connect alongside their families.

Future Bees of Tomorrow

Ages 12–19 | Learn. Apply. Create.

Future Bees of Tomorrow is our project-based program for youth ages 12–19.

As young people get older, we move beyond introducing concepts and begin creating opportunities for them to apply what they learn. Through hands-on projects, practical experiences, and opportunities to explore their interests, participants strengthen their skills while working toward meaningful outcomes.

Our goal is not simply to teach young people about possibilities, but to give them opportunities to experience those possibilities for themselves.

Future Bees of Tomorrow incorporates our five pillars through specialized learning tracks that encourage youth to take ownership of their ideas, develop practical skills, and create something they can be proud of.

Entrepreneurship

Our Entrepreneurship track introduces youth to the process of turning an idea into a business.

Participants explore business development, branding, marketing, customer service, pricing, budgeting, and the responsibilities of operating a business. Through practical projects, youth have opportunities to develop business concepts, create products or services, and practice presenting their ideas.

The goal is to help young people understand entrepreneurship while developing creativity, financial awareness, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Book Writing & Publishing

Every young person has a story, perspective, or idea worth sharing.

Our Book Writing & Publishing track guides participants through the process of developing an original written work, from brainstorming and outlining to drafting, editing, formatting, and publishing.

Through a structured 9–12-week experience, youth develop writing, communication, organization, and creative thinking skills while working toward becoming published authors.

Beyond writing a book, participants experience what it means to begin with an idea, remain committed to a project, and bring that project to completion.

Websites as Résumés

In an increasingly digital world, young people need opportunities to demonstrate what they know and what they can do.

Our Websites as Résumés track introduces youth to website development, digital presentation, personal branding, and professional communication.

Participants create personal websites that can showcase their accomplishments, skills, projects, interests, and future goals. These websites can grow with them as they pursue educational opportunities, employment, entrepreneurship, and other professional experiences.

Civic Engagement

Young people have voices, ideas, and perspectives that deserve to be heard.

Our Civic Engagement track introduces participants to community leadership, government, civic responsibility, advocacy, and the importance of participating in decisions that affect their communities.

Through activities such as mock elections, community discussions, letter writing, research, and service projects, youth explore how individuals can contribute to meaningful change.

The goal is to help participants become informed, engaged, and confident members of their communities.

Career & Life Readiness

Preparing for adulthood involves more than choosing a career.

Our Career & Life Readiness experiences introduce participants to professional communication, workplace expectations, résumé development, interviewing, financial responsibility, decision-making, and other skills that support greater independence.

Youth also explore different industries and career pathways, helping them identify opportunities that align with their interests, abilities, and personal goals.

Rather than expecting young people to have their futures figured out, we create opportunities for them to explore what those futures could look like.
